A formal petition was drafted to the NCMA National Office on 19 September 1984
requesting permission to establish a Fort Worth Chapter of NCMA with thirty-three
(33) charter members. Formal approval of the petition was granted on October 17,
1984 with Chapter Number 107 being chartered as the Fort Worth Chapter of NCMA.


In the twenty (20+) years of existence the Fort Worth Chapter has:
o Conducted chapter meetings September through June of each year.
o Conducted monthly chapter board officer planning meetings.
o Conducted monthly dinner meetings on the third Tuesday of the month.
o Selected meeting locations which are centrally located, offer the best price value, and
can accommodate the chapter needs.


The original board officers, which include two current members, were:
o President - Ira (Doc) O. Whittenberg (Current (45 year NCMA) Chapter Member)
o Vice President - Jay L. Daniel
o Secretary - Edgar W. Simpson

o Treasurer - Don C. Henry
