JOB SUMMARY
Turn your Federal Acquisition Program/Project Management (FAC P/PM) expertise, on-the-job experience and great communications skills into a rewarding part-time teaching opportunity. Our newly developed FAC P/PM curriculum addresses the Office of Management & Budget (OMB) and the Federal Acquisition Institute (FAI) mandated regimen of training and experience requirements for federal acquisition professionals within civilian agencies. Our classes meet all requirements for certification at Level I, II and III.

Responsible for the classroom delivery of Learning Tree's FAC P/PM curriculum.
Program/Project Management
Acquisition Management
Business Management for Government Applications (Earned Value Management)
Leadership and Interpersonal Skills

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Instruction of Learning Tree courses following the course outline.
2. Handle all attendee-related administrative matters satisfactorily, prior to, during, and immediately after course completion. Provide feedback to the proper department on any classroom events that may require immediate attention.
3. Set up all required computer equipment for courses. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

SKILLS, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
FAC P/PM Instructors must possess the following:
Minimum 5 years federal acquisition program/project management experience covering projects in excess of $1M.
Active PMP certification to be considered for PM courses. All others optional.
Must demonstrate thorough technical and subject matter knowledge during interviews, train-the trainer session and course audits.
A four year college degree or higher is desired.
Prior classroom training experience a definite plus.
Must be willing to travel.

Additional information:
The opportunity is on a contract basis with instructors travel to our education center located in Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, DC Metro Area, Tampa, Salt Lake City and San Francisco (if they are in a position to do so, we try to keep our instructors as close to home as possible if that is what they prefer) Travel is US only at this point and the rate ranges from $500.00 to $750.00 a day depending on the level of the subject matter the instructor would teach.
